LaPanta has served as the television play-by-play voice of the Saints for all but one season. (The lone exception was 1999 when he left the Northern League to serve as a radio play-by-play man for the Minnesota Twins.) In 2000, he pulled double duty, handling the call of the team's game at home on a simulcast basis and also doing the away games. LaPanta pulled double duty in 2002, hosting the Twins’ Pregame Report on Fox Sports Net in addition to his television duties and select radio assignments in St. Paul.
